In an interview broadcasted by the US government founded TV channel “Al-Hurra”, The US ambassador in Rabat, Samuel Kaplan said, that Morocco’s actions in the fight against terrorism are pertinent.
The US diplomat praised in his televised comments the fight against terrorism led by the Moroccan government describing it as “clear, direct and strong,” and expressed his country’s admiration for operations conducted by Morocco to fight terrorism and its leadership in this field.
Calling “excellent” the US-Morocco cooperation in this area which is based on consultation, coordination and exchange of information, he said that the US is helping Morocco to get the adequate technologies to address this international blight.
“This is just diplomatic talk, if the US really wants to fight terrorism they should put pressure on Algeria to open Tindouf camps for the international monitoring and allow the sequestered population to regain their country” said a Moroccan student in the US.
